I have the same problems you have. At first i was scared to say something about but ike now this is gone over board im stuck in the house because of being dizzy. When i get around a bunch of people it really turns on.
Hey guys, hope it helps- dramin has helped me a lot while I have the dizzy spells(yes, the sea-sickness pills). If it gets you drowsy, take half.
Also, acupuncture with the right guy helped me a lot. I never knew what I had,it took some 10 sessions and then he said:”chest upfront, courage!” what a great man!
Havent seen him for a few years, because I moved countries, but now it’s slowly moving to heart palpitations and short breathness…I’m dealing with it,but honestly-hate it lol
I relate to what you say…
i’ve had this for a years now. I’m 23 and it’s basically given me really bad agoraphobia… Like i’m too paranoid to go outside in case I get these waves of dizziness and go completely unsteady. I can’t really do anything because of it, the only time I really feel comfortable when walking is next to a wall as I have something to lean against if things go wrong. But then I can’t really walk far on my own anyways.
I dunno, i’ve been feeling suicidal over this lately, dont enjoy life like this
i had dizziness during my first pannic attack .. it was really bad .. and i felt my heart race at the same time .
i get unsteady ness and its scary wtf do i do bro im only 16 fuckin hate this shit
Ive had MRI, MRA, and several heart test done. The only test that was positive was the tilt i had at Cardiologist. B/p drop to 59/30 explaining dizziness when first standing but not continuous. My sleep has been way off lately and it has seemed worse. I go to bed late and get up early to put daughter on bus then lay back down for a few hours. I stay sleepy all time even now that im off the klonopin… Im just lost on whole situation About to lost everything including wife
Never did get a dry feeling in the mouth. Did they also give you an MRI and test your heart? Mine is quite mysterious and seems to be worse on days I sleep too much. So, it sounds like yours has progressed and gotten worse over the years. I’m assuming they’ve ruled out Meniere’s Disease.
Read below first.. Ive had about every test you can think of done and they find nothing.. Even had sinus surgery in January hoping i was that..The panic attacks have slowed down cause ive learned to deal with them but havent learned the beat the dizziness yet.. I cant even go to Walmart with my wife or even a gas station now cause im scared im going to have one of the bad spells and hit the floor. Just wish YouTube was around when all this started cause it does give hope.. Thanks for sharing
Do you have a weird feeling in your mouth when your unsteady feeling takes over???? Ive been fighting this for about 8 years.. It started by a severe dizzy spell and turned in to severe anxiety and depression.. I took klonopins for a long time then last summer i had another bad dizzy spell and its been down hill from there.. It has become constant unsteadiness and i noticed i have a weird dry feeling in my mouth at same time.. Its to the point now wwhere i cant even drive…
Do you have any history of migraines at all? The being sensitive to light made me wonder. Although when I feel very anxious, I do get light sensitive. So I always carry sunglasses with me. That is odd though if you’ve never had dizzy spells before, but there is a first time for everything. My doctor once thought maybe allergies were causing my dizziness.
got goose bumps, my vision got really really sharp, i couldn’t stand the light it was very bright….i hope i don’t get another “dizzy” episode because that triggered a panic attack b/c i didn’t understand why i got dizzy out of no where and felt perception depth problem, like you i also felt “some comfort” going outside…. being inside made me feel like i couldn’t breathe..
for no reason i started to feel “off balance” and then it triggered a panic attack and i felt really nauziated, my skin turned red, i
hello. i’ve had panic attacks before off an on for the past 2 years they used to happen A LOT, but not so much anymore….today for the first time i got dizzy out of the blue!
Also, check out video #40 “Coping Statements”. There are many elements to overcoming anxiety. The key is to use the correct combination of them and you can overcome your anxiety.
Is there a therapist you can see? I always recommend seeking therapy as soon as it interferes with your life or quality of living. It’s definitely worth it if you can afford one or your insurance will cover it. There’s a great book I recommend to everyone called, “Anxiety and Phobia Workbook.” That book has really helped me. In the meantime, practice deep breathing and relaxing your body when you feel these episodes coming on.
It’s not so much dizziness as it is feeling consumed by this tightness. My nerves go haywire. My anxiety takes a almost complete control of me. It’s starting to build up in me right now as I write this. I can’t keep dealing with it man, :/
Well, the dizziness for some people and for me anyway, is hard to deal with. If your dizziness is actually caused by your anxiety, reassure yourself that it isn’t dangerous and that it’s just a symptom of anxiety. I’m assuming your dizziness is caused by the anxiety?
I was just wondering if you have any tips for me? I want this feeling to go away, man. It is ripping my life and my mind apart. It’s so hard to deal with :/
Hey I hear aroma therapy can help when you feel stress or anxiety coming on. It is supposed to help your mind and yourself relax. Peaceful sounds of music can possibly have the same effect. I am 15 years old going into High School in 2 weeks and for the past week, I’ve had a huge anxiety attack, I mean it was really bad. Since than I’ve been feeling the “after-shocks” if you will. It’s a very uncomfortable feeling for me, gets me so scared and nerved up.
This is very common when getting off of SRI drugs (Zoloft, Prozac, etc).
Great to hear your story~!
I’ve been taking Bromazepam. There are times that i’m better so i’m able to reduce the dose, and the other way around.
Sounds like the dizziness is caused by the anxiety, perhaps? Just curious, what meds do you take for the dizziness?
I have the same problem for the last 18 years.
It all started with a panic attack, and since then i’ve been having dizziness. I’ve been taking medication to help with the anxiety and dizziness. It has been the only way to stop my dizziness.
